Recuperating from the gall bladder removal means lots of sleeping... it was 11 hours last night! Hopefully, tonight will be closer to 9 hours (which turns out to be kind of normal for me!)

Dug into the freezer for some chicken thighs I had put in there ages ago and I found a bag of '16 bean soup'... so I have what we call 'stupe' (more stew-y than soup-y) working so we can eat that as needed over the next few days.

I find I like to have a pot of 'something' in the fridge at all times... it's a comfort to have ready-made food that I can just add salad or a sandwich to make a meal.
