Feeling a little cautious about going to the 'seniors-only' shopping time at the local supermarket, because it is likely to be crowded with a larger-than-I'm-currently-comfortable-with-number-of very nice people picking up Passover-season and Shabbas food, and there may well be too many to keep a reasonable distance. I love living in the second-largest Conservative Jewish community in the US (as a goy, or should that be goya?) but I worry about crowding there. Maybe I should wait until their other 'seniors only' time, on Monday. Or see if the farmers market on Saturday is civilized -- it may be possible to drive by and look at it without going in. I mostly need veggies.

However, the SU went to Costco today (which he reported as being very civilized) and got a block of toilet paper, which should take care of us for a couple of months. The only problem with shopping there is that their good veggies are sized for families of 10, and this family of 2 cannot quite deal with so much.

Other than this, doing better than the other day. Sleep helps. I made the call to cancel my hotel for the conference that is canceled in two weeks (or to verify that it was, indeed, canceled) and reserved a room for next year's conference online.
