Date: 2023-06-15 03:33 am (UTC)(I still mask every day at work and in other large public settings. I own about 20 masks, several of them with fannish motifs.)

Date: 2023-06-15 12:53 pm (UTC)we are several days into testing whether one of the offspring should not eat gluten; current evidence suggests yes. We are fortunate that both our household, and their fiance's household are already sufficiently gluten free, but argh, the complexity. This puts us at three from three who have inherited some of my food issues.

Date: 2023-06-17 11:51 am (UTC)Thank you for the good wishes. And oh, so true on things being easier. I started cooking GF in the mid-90s, when housemate was GF, and it was so much harder. These days we have cereal all our GF family members can tolerate, and pasta that doesn't turn to sludge, and a range of easily sourced flour and so many things. And it isn't all that many things that they are having to drop, because all communal meals are GF anyway. But they did end up taking their own packet of pasta to the social thing tonight, it being a bit late as a change for the host to be able to do anything.
