I screwed up most of the last batch of masks I'm making, so spent a lot of time ripping out stitches. Had a 2 hour nap and woke up with my arms all achy.

Neighbors continue not to take this seriously. Was looking out the window a lot while unsewing-- couples walking past, man walking 3 children past, people on bicycles (none with masks, which ok, if you're exercising in family units and keeping a safe distance from unrelated people, but still it was a lot of movement)- man getting himself a drink while out maskless, man DUMPING the empty cup in my yard, next door putting out a *recycle* bin (today's recycle pick up) with loose garbage including cat food tins right on the edge next to my verge so when the automated truck picked it up, filth fell out on my verge and the truck dropped the bin in front of my house.

So, I went out and had to pick up other people's garbage and push their horribly stinking bin back in front of their property, and then go around scrubbing my hands and doorknobs and gate. Hope that extra strength Fantastic in addition to killing bacteria and 99% of common germs, also kills coronavirus.

I am grouchy.

I'm riding the high of...I dunno, numbness, I guess? I can feel things, but right now I just feel drifty.

I'm okay mainly because food and caffeine and headmates.

...

And the schedule I'm keeping that's in it's what...third week now I think?

I still feel on the edge of this anxiety pit, but at least I'm able to stay on the knife point...and hold steady. If only just.

We got a subscription to a service/company that lets you pick out which veggies you want from their list and sends them to you. (We never got a CSA because they don't let you choose what you want -- and both the SU and I have some food sensitivities which mean that we could get an entire CSA box of something neither of us could eat.) They're 'imperfect' -- can't be sent to a supermarket. We are still eating last week's supply, and on Thursday will fill out the list for next week. And the cost is reasonably less than first-rate food at the supermarket. So far only one potato was really awful, out of the several we had. Also, 3 zucchini (at the size I like, small); 3 small avocados; one big head redleaf lettuce; 2 good-sized sweet potatoes (big enough that when the spots were cut out there was still a lot); half a pound of green beans; half a dozen hot peppers for the SU; two large heads of broccoli; and I know I'm forgetting a few things there.

But that is helping a lot because it eliminates a lot of shopping and hauling, a lot of going out. I could wish they had a few other things that I like, but they're somewhat out of season -- like butternut squash and apples. I think this is from a farmers' cooperative; they cut things, they sort them into boxes and they ship them. Their offerings vary from week to week depending on what's available, which is good -- means it's fresher.

So we are eating well. That helps a lot. And eating healthily; also good. And it cuts down on the amount of shopping needed.
