So my parents are still here.

Mom has repeatedly asked dad if he's wanted to leave Indianapolis for Florida, but due to wanting some of ther family members to step up and do their part to take care of the family patriark (Who is 99 going on 9) he refused.

It's been below freezing the past little while which means he can't exercise like he should...

which leads to tonight and him in urgent care. We're waiting on a CT scan, but they think he has a blood clot in his stomach causing a fluid build up. That's been going on for the last couple days, and even a couple of Pharmacy trips didn't ease it much.

I'm...just really worried that he won't make it home, and since I've been back here, we've been trying to pick me up a dresser because I have none, and I'm hoping the one I saw at the Greenwood Salvation Army will still be there when I get back, but ... I don't know at this point.

We tried to get it earlier this week, but dad said he felt the prices were kind of high, and we didn't have to r8ush into getting things for me. (This was after mom and we had already done the legwork *for him* and looked everywhere.)

Like...this is just one thing after another, most of whichn I haven't put here because I've not had time to sit down and breathe since I've gotten back to Indy. *sighs*

{{{hugs}}} ... I just wish we could've gotten things done faster so he could have left...and that he was a little less...stupidly stubborn. *sighs*

He came up here with mom to help us move...I'm not sure I'd not feel somewhat responsible if he didn't make it through theis experience, you know?

Like malybe I'm getting ahead of myself, but he's been in bad shape for a number of years now, and each year I wonder when the dreaded phone call's gunna come my way...and if I'm the one who'll help him cross (If I have the ability to do so, that is.)
