One of my dearest friends, in England, has COVID. He has survived cancer, twice. He is immunocompromised. And he has COVID. To say that I'm worried is putting it very very mildly. He seems to be having a milder version of it than might be happening, which is good, but I don't expect to not be worried till it's clear that he's past it.

I'm in lockdown now, with strict curfew from 9pm to 5am. It was initially supposed to be until the end of November, but it's probably going to be extended to mid-December, because Greece's numbers are at record highs for daily cases, hospitalizations, and deaths.

I'm angry at the people who refused to take the threat seriously, and extra angry at everyone who claimed it was a hoax.
