Posting a little early so we can crawl off to an Internet-free cocoon of Bruce Lee movies & Diana Rigg as Emma Peel.

Feeling cruddy because I went to the doctor yesterday and said "How about a flu shot!" and they gave me flu, Hepatitis A, and shingles vaccines. So *both* arms are swollen & even with acetaminophen I feel kind of cruddy.

I also phone banked from 9-2, which has left me too exhausted to be anxious. So that's good!

Waiting for results. We won't know yet for a lot of them, because even the early-cast ballots have in many areas waited to be counted. Trying to brace to not know even at bedtime.

Crossing fingers. Hoping. Praying.

I am assembling comfort food and going off to watch entertainment with my partner.

Relatives are counting on me for stuff unrelated to the election, for one thing. For another, I'm expecting to have to be peoples' Emotional Support Canadian tomorrow, however this goes.

I voted, burned an old couch in the firepit because no one wanted it when we posted it for free on craigslist/FB Marketplace and the neighbors were threatening to call codes on us, then built closet shelves up in one bedroom. Cut the wood and then built shelves for the living room for all the DVDs/BluRays.

Oh also did some words this morning after voting for nano.
