Anyone got tips on sussing out real tumblrites that are just shy so I don't go blocking a bunch of proper fen in my weeding trolls?

We are starting a partial lockdown again here (pretty much all fun and leisure venues closed, restaurants only with takeout, strict limits on meeting privately), because the infections have become so bad. So that's depressing. I hope it'll work at least, but a lot of people seem really pissed off about it, so idk how good compliance will be, especially with the private meetings.

Damn, that's tough - sounds like what we call level 3. I hope all of us out here on the internet can be a little consolation.

Yeah. I mean I haven't been out much anyway, and I don't know yet whether the one fun thing I've restarted, a language course, will be stopped too (the community college according to their announcement isn't clear yet what the new rules mean for adult ed, i.e. whether it'll be open like schools or closed like leisure etc), and the news haven't said anything about that either. But I assume it'll have to close too.

I'm hoping they switch to online at least this time, unlike in spring.

I have finally set up a doctor's appt in hopes of not having my ears hurt all damn winter. I still feel surprisingly guilty about taking up a doctor's time during a pandemic.

Probably better to get it taken care of now than to let it go, and risk a more acute problem at a time when doctors may be even busier.
