I continue to work through my overwhelming set of deadlines. Submitted one application today, moved on to the next one only to discover it needs a different subset of the information summarised. I still have no idea how I'm going to have something useful for Wednesday, which is really at best Tuesday, so other people can read it.

But I have been weaponising my contrariness. I am working from bed. I am repeatedly setting a 20 minute timer, and when it goes off I have to stop writing and get out of bed and tidy up three things. So much progress.. .

I'm going through a rough period at work. I've already been informed that my contract will not be renewed next school year so it feels like nothing I do really matters… but at the same time, I have some professional pride and I want to do right by my coworkers and students. It's really demoralizing.
