It has been steadily raining for the last day and a bit, and everything is wet - from the looks of the garage, we had enough at once that there has been water through; this is expected so everything is up on blocks. Looking at the weather app, we had 35.8 mm yesterday, and so far we have had 27.0 mm. Month to date is 139.8; the long term average for July is 180.mm (and, given the average rain days, average rain is about 10mm in 24 hours). We've had quite a lot of wet days this month, but not two in a row just persisting down.

Yeah, rain is often a conundrum. We need it -- but not too much -- and the unrelenting drizzles can be depressing. Here's hoping you get some sunny days.
