My sister and I went to the local Hands Off rally today. So many people! It was very encouraging.

Heartened a wee bit of what little I've seen about the Hands Off protests, so yay for that.
Trying to rally some positive feeling towards my coming birthday (Apr 19), but it's hard
Struggling to find joy when it feels like all my energy is going into just barely keeping afloat

wife's talking about celebrating early cuz she wants to make me a berry cake and with the tarrifs, we'll need to buy the berries now instead of later. 😅 Considering I expect this year to be another heartbreaker (it's the same day as a death anniversary), I'm okay with celebrating early.
