I checked "not ok, but don't need help" but that's a bit questionable.
Thursdays are becoming Bad Days and I really need to be able to rest/recover on them and it keeps not happening, making me extra cranky. Having multiple death nightmares last night reeeeally didn't help matters.

Honestly, I'm in a constant state of mildly terrified thanks to the clown circus foisted upon us by That Guy and His Sugar Daddy and I'm mentally, emotionally, and physically sick of it. And as someone who was already struggling with severe chronic health issues (including SI), I am very much over it. And angry with everything.

Feeling very overwhelmed with all the bullshit going on in the US, and personally feel like if I disappeared, nobody but people in fandom would really miss me.

I do suffer from anxiousness/anxiety and found that taking daily magnesium supplements really helps. When I went to see my new doctor 2 weeks ago, she said that I could probably back off (so I went from 200mg daily to 100mg daily) and this week that change has really thrown me for a loop - thus my emotional state. I don't know if it's just the change that's causing this since I'm now 10 days into the dose change, or if it's the fact that 100mg isn't enough. If it's just mid-state change that's affecting me and it'll be over in a week or so, I could deal with that - but what if it's that it's not enough? Ugh - I hate not knowing!

I'll be okay.

If I may ask, which kind of magnesium do you take? There seem to be several varities, which is confusing for me.

I started out taking magnesium oxide 400mg daily. The Oxide version is harder to absorb, and it can lead to laxative-type effects if you take too much, but 400mg/Day seemed to be my sweet spot. But most recently (within 6 months) magnesium glycinate became more readily available. The Glycinate version is A) so much more absorbable by your body and B) is good for both brain and muscles. Because it's more readily available, I talked to a pharmacist friend and they did some converting for me and found 400mg Oxide = 200mg Glycinate.

So long story short, magnesium glycinate 200mg daily.

It's truly helped with my anxiousness/anxiety.
