I am so ... existentially exhausted at this point.
We were able to make a Walmart order for food which was supposed to be left on our porch today. Wife checks tracking this afternoon and it says undeliverable because "no one at home/business closed" which of course is complete bollocks. She calls up FedEx to get this sorted and ends up having to cut off some mealy-mouthed "sorry for the inconvenience" with a full on Karen no, this is not an "inconvenience" this our FOOD and you WILL deliver it before Tuesday (after having to explain twice she doesn't care what the driver claims, she's disabled and housebound, he absolutely did NOT knock on our door and also y'all had no problem just leaving a stack of boxes yesterday, so get over it). Which they agreed to re-attempt delivery tomorrow. But still.

Oh, and there was supposed to be something from the power company in our box, but when I went to check, it was empty. Best case, for some reason our carrier either ran *super* late or didn't get to us at all today ... but we do have mail thieves in the area, so who knows. I was going to check the box again around dinner time, but ran out of energy. e_e

Oy, this is really not the year for "not bothering to deliver packages" to be remotely okay. Crossing my fingers for it to be delivered.
Good for your wife, holding them to account.
