I took advantage of the cool weather today to go and get my Pfizer JN.1 Vaccine booster.

On the way back, a flock of red-tailed black cockatoos were sitting in the 30 metre [98 feet] tall trees in the park across the road from me calling to express their delight at the cooler weather and the rain. (Red tails are very active and vocal on rainy days - some people actually use their behaviour to forecast rain.)

I was really worried about the powerchair battery going flat - it's been sitting idle for 6 months or 12 months - but I made it there and back okay.

I went super slow and stayed on the road/bike lane most of the way (costs less battery) and made it back with allegedly 81% battery.

I say allegedly because it can drop super quickly, 81% doesn't always mean 81%, sometimes IT LIES.

The time I almost got stranded (the last time I got a COVID booster) it went from 100% battery to 30% battery in less than 1 kilometre.

Did a lot of political activism last week, expect to do even more this coming week. Anxiety high, trying to keep it under control, barely.
