The hubby and I both have the flu! We had vaccines and we got good drugs but until they really kick in, it's kicking my ass... Hoping some sleep makes it better!

Not doing okay and may have to stop checking Bluesky entirely for awhile because I'm tired of the new and creative ways people keep finding to talk about rape without saying the word and oh look, now I'm a triggered mess again. I curate my online spaces for reasons, especially SNS, and having that routinely undermined is really fucking telling about how we think about personal agency. But if I yell at people to just USE THE GD WORD, I'm the horrible person because this topic is Important and Everyone Needs To Know. No, Karen, not for the fiftieth time in two days I don't. It's not breaking news anymore that these men in power have abused that power, for the love of kittens let me control my own feeds!
