I'm just...having a really shit day.
I'm tired of having to always be a responsible adult.

I hear you and can relate. There's nothing to be done for it either, we have to be the adult and carry on. I wish I had something inspiring to say but I'm in that boat too. Just take it one day, or even hour, at a time.

I suspect this is why I woke up with an extra cat in bed with me this morning (most of the cats prefer Other Mother for cuddles, who runs hot, so having more than one or two with me is unusual)...which didn't really help anything and definitely made getting up harder, but she was trying her tiny best. And has now planted her purring self in my lap, which also isn't really helping anything, but she's trying.
