Covid vax with minimal reaction
Date: 2024-10-23 12:21 am (UTC)https://starwatcher.dreamwidth.org/533404.html
Basically, take some antihistamine before the jab. (Details at link; feel free to share.)
So, I took antihistamine before my shot yesterday, and I've had a big 'no reaction'. (Other than sore arm, which is normal.)
I can't say for certain the antihistamine helped; I seem to alternate between a mild reaction and a moderate reaction that keeps me inactive for 24 hours. My last reaction knocked me down for a day, so this time might well be the opposite swing of the pendulum. But I didn't have even the tiniest headache (which is a typical part of my 'mild' reaction, but I can push through it).
One data point isn't much, of course, but if you often react to the Covid vax, this might be worth a try.
