Have mostly gotten the nook around my desk back into shape. The pin boards are hung up. The various shelves for nerd stuff are up. My tarot decks have a home now. The non- doll part of the sideboard is mostly clear and I can proceed with project "dusting and putting dolls back." (I collect BJDs and have recently added some big boys to the collection.) ((There's a sideboard in my office because it used to be my grandmother's sewing room before my grandparents passed and I bought their house from my mom and her siblings. The room was built around the sideboard and it cannot be removed without either removing a wall or destroying the sideboard.))

Congrats; sounds like a job well done! I'll bet that sideboard is a treasured heirloom. Even if it's inconvenient, you'd never get rid of it, right?

The sideboard is an extremely useful place to store things. Pretty sure it was a random discount find when they got it, but cheap 60s furniture is still mostly wood and veneer. It's never crossed my mind to get rid of it.
