One of my nephews visited today. Still not entirely comfortable with this practice, however irregularly scheduled it is.

One of my close colleagues is in the hospital. We've been working remotely so I am not personally in danger, but I am worried for him.

the good: wife's sister went grocery shopping for us so we could have things like milk, eggs, butter, and meats (and a bunch of other things)
the bad: delivery was not properly socially distanced and I was the only one wearing a mask

so while my food anxiety weasels have to shut up (we have meats for the next month of meals!), the COVID anxiety weasels have happily taken over AND THEN SOME because didn't maintain 6 ft distance, S-I-L wasn't masked around us and probably wasn't in the store either because of course we don't have any sort of *serious* mask mandate here in red hat country, and now I'll be spending the next couple of weeks trying not to freak out over every cough, sneeze, or sniffle because of course.
