Can you get takeout from Favorite Restaurant?

We can, and we might! Tomorrow I'll decide if that's what I want vs eating food we already have. Takeout is still pretty expensive, and it doesn't come with the dining room experience of seeing all our favorite servers, so it might be better (and safer) to eat what's in the fridge.

Takeout isn't more expensive than going out, though, and it's a lifeline for the restaurant. Include a note with your order, saying you miss being able to celebrate with them, and look forward to coming back on the flip side.

Seriously, the restaurant is facing DOOM. Takeout means you get nice food & also help them across the financial abyss.

No, it isn't more expensive, but I probably should have mentioned that we got takeout from them last Friday and it was over $100. I absolutely don't mind spending that much on food, but with B's pay getting cut by a third for the foreseeable future, it's not practical to get takeout from them every week! We can probably swing it again next week, it's just the timing was off for my birthday.

Our next order from them will probably be smaller so we can give some business to other restaurants we love.

Holy shirt. Yeah, I thought this was a "twice a year" favorite restaurant, not one you go to/get food from that often.

So far there's only one of the local restaurants that we're really supporting, mostly because our favorite one, the cheap Chinese place, has been closed. I hope they're not doomed ...
