I got a letter that my uncle (my father's brother) died a few days ago. He was 96, so not unexpected, but still sad. Also my heating still hasn't been fixed, though the weather has gotten warmer, so I haven't bothered to complain again.

My condolences. Yes, even when expected, it's still a sad loss.

I'm glad the weather is warmer but, really, they need to fix that! Surely you're not the only one who's complained.

The problem with the heating is that the furnace is running fine, but there's not enough water circulating through the radiators. I'm the only one on the top floor (next to me is attic storage), and gravity working like it does, the radiators lower down are still fully warm and whatever caused the water loss seems to have stopped, since mine still are a little warm, in an inefficient way.
