Look, 2020, enough already.
One of the park strays has figured out how to wiggle her way into the heat ducting and from there into the house (this isn't as completely bizarre as it sound - we live in a mobile home with under-floor heat ducting that's seen better days). This isn't much of an issue right *now* because daytime highs are in the neighborhood of Satan's Sweaty Ballsack, but eventually it's going to be winter again and that's going to need fixing before then. I mean we probably also need an entirely new furnace while we're at it, but who has the money for that in a time like this?

Of course she only *fit* in there because, overnight, she dropped another litter of kittens somewhere she won't tell me about, so we also need to get her hussy butt fixed somehow.

I just ... I just want to draw a modest income from my arts and card readings (since I'm too disabled to work but not disabled enough to get disability) so I can stop feeling like a terrible person all the time. Why, universe, is that so much to ask?

I broke a tooth last night and am trying to decide what to do about it. Options:
1. Go to my regular dentist, which would require an uber ride + an elevator up 11 floors. I'm pretty sure they're taking good precautions though.
2. Find a different dentist walking distance to me.
3. Don't go because it's too dangerous and a broken tooth isn't going to kill me, probably.

If I call my dentist and ask what to do I'm sure they will tell me to come in, since they were telling me to come in for cleanings. I'm sure they need the business. I'm in a city where case numbers are medium high - not the absolute worst but not good. I have multiple health conditions that put me at medium-high coronavirus risk, and so does one of my family members.

I've been doing lots of research on risks at dentists and get the answer that it is...medium.

I hate all this 'be your own epidemiologist and take personal responsibility for your life and that of your family' stuff.

Yes, it's very hard, and scary, and not what a person should have to do. Sending best wishes.
