some major house repairs we've been putting off (because disabled women on fixed income) are coming back to bite us in the ass right in time for our anniversary and tax time. :p Finding contractors we can trust is being a whole ass thing (already had a couple who probably thought they'd scam us until wife proved she actually knows exactly what repairs need to be done), to the point where I'm scarily tempted to let her dad (who absolutely should NOT be doing construction at 74 with the max number of heart stents) help us with the repair projects anyway. At least we can trust him!

I'm tired of being an adult, I want to go back to being a hooligan teenager, since I never actually did that. :p
