Date: 2023-12-18 09:24 am (UTC)Stuff AND nonsense.
The good news is the first piece of furniture has been moved and the bare minimum baking has been done, and I have had time to read fic. The less good is that the list doesn't seem any shorter :)

Date: 2023-12-18 03:02 pm (UTC)Too sodding true. Habitat is different though - last time I cleared out the paper drifts on the end of my desk, there were So Many incomplete to do lists.

Date: 2023-12-18 10:44 pm (UTC)It's made worse when you have a person who doesn't let youstop to eat, even when they know the consequences of it. (I'm a bitch when I get too hungry. Hangry turns into Bitchungry. LOL
Good luck adulting.

Date: 2023-12-18 10:42 pm (UTC)I am running low on a bit of money, and I can't remember whether or not I've paid my gas bill. *sighs*
I need to verify my identity for unemployment (which hasn't started coming in yet otherwise I'd be ok) due to the fact they 'couldn't read my state ID', and there's no other way fr me to do it because I have none of the other documents they suggest. *sighs* I hat photo based verification shit.
Got the house cleaned (mostly) but not without critcism from the mother, and a few angry words on both our parts.
Some of it (I had a shit ton of moldy food because I...just didn't wat to, or didn'[t have the spoons to, deal with it, and it pissed her off, and made her wonder how I lived this long without getting sick/thecats getting sick, etc. Um...maybe because I *know* it's bad, so I don't eat it?
She'll be back to clean cartets and finish up probably on Wednesday, but for now I get a bit of a break.
My headmates and I are grateful for this. While she means well, she's still a lot to deal with, and not just because of the back and forth of anger.
She over shares. Worse than I do, and I can't stop it because she throws it in the conversation like people do talk of the weather, and by the time my brain catches up to what she's done, it's too late. If I told her I didn't appreciate that part of the conversation, as I probably should, by the time she comes back to see me (Which will probably be six moths to a year from now) she will have forgotten that I told her of my nonappreciation.
And then she wonders why I have no filter or boundaries. ... Hello? Look in the fucking mirror woman. *sighs*
We did, however, go to teh Kriskindlemarkt in Carmel IN and had a fun time there. It was a good day for it, and we did their scavenger hunt, and I bought an ornament for my friend.
Mom enjoyed describing the various items to me, and we all got a picture while sitting in a sliegh. We bought sweets and cookies on the way out, so it was a good day for all. :)
