As of Oct. 14, 2023; I have no longer had a fatherr: RIP dad. :(

I'm still trying to recover from an OVFF where a room share partner never showed-and I am now $115 in the hole, and...I still have other things I want to do in the coming weeks. *sighs*

Grief...it's a weird thing. There was a contry song that I didn't think would hig me, and it did. Right between the eyes, and I started crying a little. Thankfully it was in front of my best friend, so it didn't matter, but damn that was rough, and unexpected.

I've also found out that the convention I'm going to over the weekend of gratitude day will be the last ever-and the more I think about it, the sadder it is. I just...there are so many emotions swirling about in me, and right now it's hard to pick through them. I haven't mentioned the frustration with my job until now, which also isn't helping. *sighs* >.<

I'm sorry I haven't been here more regularly, but lately it's been come home, crash, try to survive the tumult of emotions, work; go to M's hhouse on the weekend (which lately has included trips to a karaoke bar) wash rinse repeat.

The only differences was a movie that I saw a couple weeks ago, wich was fun.

After having to leave the job running while I slept (and it not finishing, unsurprisingly, cuz I wasn't there to shepherd it through the blips), the two day long task of data migration is ... mostly complete. Complete enough that I feel like now I can maybe actually settle in. Now if I could actually remember all my key passwords. >_>
