My finances are still up and down-although they're finally starting to swing more up than down); I lost my phone and am still freaked out by a loonly lady who talked about the stat of America and Indiana in seriously unflattering and fucked up terms and wished her "sweet Jesus would just strike her dead ritght now."

I could litterally feel the hatred pooring off her in waves and it seriously disturbed me.

Mind you, this was at a transit center, so she was doing this in fucking *public*. This was yesterday, and I am *still* having a hard time getting it out of my head.

I've gotten a lot of good business at work since the last time we talked, and the family reunion I went to over the first week in August wasn't too bad for the most part, so that was nice.

They had a murder mystery play that all of us had parts in, including me, so that was fun. It was one of those with a CD attached with it, and scripts, so that was a good thing for the entire family to do toger.

Dad and I also had some time together wandering through the hostess's garden and picking off little cherry tomatoes (With her permission) and having a long heart to heart conversation about life, finances and his health, which while not all pleasant, was still nice to get. Especially since we don't get to spend much time together these days.

Other than that (And hoping I can find someone to help me clean up a house with a depressed human inside) life has been the usualy go tyo work/make sure the cats are cared for/cine gome and crash.

I'm hoping my AC can hold out for the rest of the summer because I'm getting cooling alerts that are ominous, and I don't have the fundage to have someone come out and look and/or fix the damn thing yet. :( We'll see how it goes, though.

Currently writing for the Firewhiskey Fic 48-Hour Challenge. Expecting to pull an all-nighter for it and if it's not done by morning I'll still be writing through the day on Sunday.

I did indeed do an all-nighter for that fic, finishing it around 5:00 AM. Also, I am actually pleased with how the fic turned out.
