I live in a townhouse with central a/c. but when the temps are as high as they've been for 4-5 days now (high 90's and up to mid-100's), it simply cannot cool effectively. My bedroom has been 88-89 the last few nights. I have to sleep in undies only with a fan blasting on me to geet ANY rest at all. Today I will be in my car a good portion of the day (I WFH part time) driving MIL to a couple of appointments so I will have that a/c, at least. I'm breaking down and crying. Landlord is aware, but it's just that these units aren't designed for these temps.
