I think a lot of hospitals are trying to use masks for, i.e., everyone who comes into the emergency room, just to protect the health care workers, so they probably need children's ones for that.

*nods* I'm sure there is a need for children's masks, but from a glance at the 'request' list I saw, mostly they want adult sizes.

Possibly it's because they're prioritizing the medical workers, who are all adults?
