I have decreed that there may be NO MORE medical stuff at my house, it's Too Much.

I've been recovering from a bad attack of sciatica, going to PT 3 times a week. Last week Mr. had a toothache, so bad that on Monday he was rushed in for a root canal. Then today Daughter went into the retinologist for a checkup, they found a tear & did laser surgery to repair it right then & there. Except we had to wait around for like 1/2 an hour to get the goddamned insurance company's approval, because this is Amerikuh!

And none of us has been getting reasonable amounts of sleep at reasonable times, either. I'm going to try to fix that now.

Medical problems stacking up really makes them exponentially worse rather than "only" adding them...

Fingers crossed nothing further comes your way, that the sciatica resolves itself and the retina issue got contained.

(Which reminds me that I should schedule an eye check up myself as it's coming on six months again. How is it almost June already, this ought to be outlawed.)

I honestly don't know? This is the first week or so outside of SIL's control, and I was the silly one who forgot to set up rides, so ubers are killing me this week, so we'll see whether or not I can get some cash tips into paypal this week.

It didn't help that I fell for a seriously convincyng scam operator that put me out $100 that I now can't get back on cashappp, and now feel like an idiot.

I've since blocked them and reported the email they7 sent-and feel like they should at least give you some sort of communication on whether it was resolved-wyhich they don't.

The weekend, however, was quite fun; I went to a cook out that my friend M's neighbors were holding; and had a felow (Decent enough gent) over on Sunday that I'd been chatting with on messenger. He's a sound healer, and did a few sessions,, and I gave him a 20 min massage, and we had lunch and dinner, and while it was awkward in some points, it was a good day over all.

Manager wandted me to come in yesterday-and it ended up being slow enough that I left early-but the four extra hours will be pretty on the next check, so I can't complain too myuch. :d

I'm pissed off and grumpy and I'm not entirely sure that it is justified, but a co-worker who was at the same meeting came and made a WTF comment at me, so it isn't just me feeling like some of the commentary has come out of nowhere.
