Basement's being checked for mould tomorrow as part of the repair process. Been stressing about moving stuff around the basement to clear space for the contractors.

I have been through this, with having to have a hazmat crew deal with the mold in my basement after a flood. I sympathize with your mold-removal situation.

I'm trying to figure out if I need to talk to my new neighbors or not. One of them plays music in the shop loudly, but not too bad. But the bass is irritating. Sometimes I can hear it in the house, and that's with their shop doors closed. It's better than it was initially, but eh. I'm trying to just be calm about it, because I hate confrontation/I'm not sure it would do anything/hoping the neighbors on the other side say something/is it that big of an issue. Not sure.

I know at least some of today's emotional overload is a result of hormones, but I'm still going to be mad about shit. ChatGTP is a curse on humanity and trying to escape it is ... I'm so tired of this shit.

But for me, it's a help. They have it in a pair of gasses I use, and now when I scan text, all I have to ask is "How much is this bill?" and due to ChatGPT, it can tell me without having rable through irrelevant shit on paper. Diddo for cooking instructions.

But yes, it does get tiresome to see things written by it everywhere, so I get that part of it.

and then...

Things starte to fall apart again. I found out that I was (was, mind you)less in the hole then I thought, and I could fave made it through...

If my check would have come in *today* as I thought it might-and it didn't. so now I *am* in the hole by $140...and won't get paid, probably, until Monday.

I just...*sighs* so close, y'know? Like usually it comes in the Friday before, even if the payday's on a Monday like this one is; T-mobile is acting like it and is pulling their stuff today.

While I'm not completely freaking out, it is frustrating to be so damn close, then have it go boomb. Especially when you're trying to employ self-discipline for once.

Like..other than that, and allergies sucking ass (I dunno what's in the air this spring, but damn) things are chugging along here in the state of "get used to new hours+rework butdget" things.

Including not having to buy cat food for a while because I forgot to cancel a subscribe and save, so at least my babies'll be ok for a bit.
