I miss my roommie.

Yesterday was a fubar beyond comparison with paratransit, ahnd a lady parotting the excuse that people just don't want to work, and that not everyone thinks like I do (Like, I sometimes don't want to work, but I do it anyway() that I told her I'd have to go before I started screaming because everyone in the world has that excuse and it's becoming less and less...acceptible as one. Even if it is one, it's so worn out that it's just...it just feels like a plattitude now.

I didn't get to work until 11:30 (my shift started at ten) and I didn't get home until almost 8:00 PM( my shift ended at four)

This is the worst I've seen this shit, and it just makes me want to stay home so I don't have to deal with it, but I'm not going to because...I litterally can't.

*sighs*

In other less blurggy news-a friend of mine and I are starting to slowly build up contact again, and despite the past treatments and whatnot (In which neither one of us was blameless), it seems to be going well, so there's that at least.

I went to work five days a week for 30 years. I'm now thankful to be retired.

I have felt pain like yours - there were many days I just didn't want to get out of bed.

I'm out of bed. But I took the day off. my ribs are on fire, my sinyuses are killing me, and I'm not quite sure how to deal with the fact that my anxiety and instincts are screaming at me to go. :(

Which I could staill make happehn if I pulled $45 out of my reserve for ubers since I didn't get rides set up yesterday. :( ) despite all of this.

Like this is the first week hour cuts are happening, and the freak out is real.
