We bought some blueberries that turned out to have been picked too green: they were dense and fibrous, not at all how blueberries should be. So I cooked them as for making pie filling, but slowly and with extra water, and now they taste good.

It's surprising how much just "we have blueberry sauce" has lifted my mood.

Ugh, it's spring allergy season. I do not enjoy waking up with a head full of crud and accompanying headache. Half-drowning in my own sinus drainage all night does not make for a good night's sleep, either.

I am a grumpy old lady right now.

I'm still trying to assess if I need help or just permission to feel Not Okay.
In garden news, down to the last quarter of tilling, yay! I ... actually lost track of where I was in the yard and tilled up a section I'd meant to leave alone ... and an active ant hill where I wasn't expecting it. e_e On the other hand, I've also seen more of our little lizard friends and met a new tiny frog friend. And in spite of previous slumlord landlady's best efforts, we have raspberry canes with tiny tight flower buds on them, so we should get some fruit this year after all. Goat Neighbor also gave me a bag of like 18lbs of Meow Mix cuz his cat has decided Meow Mix is for peasants, so a pretty okay day, even if my arms feel like they're going to fall off after three days of heaving cleaning + yard work (mowing season has started and mowing is a two day project for me that I have to do every week or the grass wins).

My latest work contract wrapped up today after eight weeks. It was fulfilling work, healing my brain somewhat, and it paid a living wage and kept me safer from reinfection because remote work.

I need and want more of this.

Benefits finaly came in (Thank the gods( although my sister in law is screaming about closing the acccount because she swears she's primary because she gets tax docs.

...

Even though we signed an agreement for her to be POA back in Jan of 2020 with no affective end date, and I'm pretty sure (Someone correct me if I'm wrong) that as financial POA she gets those documents on principle; which means she may (or may not) be responsible oor the money I cannot pay to the bank if I am, for some reason, unable to, but that, too is something I don't know.

All I know is she's threating account closure, and it's freaking me out a lot.

At least now I can start to live a bit, and not ahave to worry about where the food for this next week'll come from

That, and I got my schedule from the owner (Dave) and there's no change in shift. So I'ma go ahead and set my rides up as usual, and let the manager (S) and him tqalk this out. I'm abott to turn into co-worker here: it's not my job to remind him of the schedule, it's hers.

Hopefully the sis-in-law'll be willing to help me update my resume, because this shit ain't no joke no more.

My sister and I are POA for our parents. The bank stuff still gets sent to the house as far as I know, but we were able to stop the bills from coming. Mostly.

That's what I thought. But she *INSISTS* that she's primary because she gets the tax stuff, and Eric and Mom are POA and they don't...which the latter isn't true;mom's authorized to *only* take money out and put it in, *not* to make financial desisions for me if I'm incapacitated.

BTW, I've never *once* expectted her to bail me out-that wasn't the agreement, so I thimk I'ma just tell her (Because I can't ppick up and move like anyone else; I'd have to switch the benefit, etc) that I'ma leave well enough alone, and that *yes* I'll take responsibility for anything that happens on/after 5/1.

Thank you. I'm stressed out enough, but I'ma have to do something; this shit's a problem, I know it's a problem, but it's also not one that is fixable over night, or even over the few months it's been going on because schedule confusions. *sighs*
