For more than a week, I've had construction happening on both sides of my house -

on one side it's a new house (not my next door neighbours, but the next house over)

on the other side, it's a new train station/new train line (there is one house between my house and the new train line.)

The new house construction is making my bedroom floor vibrate, which makes my bed vibrate, which aggravates my hip pain and other pain. :(

Plus I am sick of all the BEEP BEEP BEEP as equipment reverses.

I've been living with the BEEP BEEP BEEP of reversing equipment for over 3 months. :(

The new house construction generates BEEP BEEP BEEPs during the day,

the train line/train station construction generates BEEP BEEP BEEPs at night. (All the train line construction happens at night so that they don't have to close the train line during the day.)

I'm mostly OK except for the sinus headache from hell I woke up with. Ug.

I've run out of nazel spray, and won't be able to get some until Mon when I get paid, and the weather her in Indy's supposed to seriously drop tomorrow. Blurg.

I also need to call a friend to see if she can at least do my counters-I keep putting it off because they just...merrr, but I can't keep putting it off. The deprression's coming slowly back, and I realize that I need to run my hand across a clean smooth serface to stop it.

...

I still think that's weird, even though it's not, but there we are.

I appreciat this com so much. Just being able to write things out is helping more than I thought it would.

I don't think your clean counters thing is weird -- clean counters are 'things are okay', otherwise is 'things are not okay', and is a nice clear indicator that your brain has latched on to and generalised more than it should. And I say this because I absolutely recognise it, because for me it is specific bits of floor.

What's funny is I didn't used to be that way-it used to be close, or dishes, or something esier to maintain.

Now it's counters/stove. *sighs*

Even my makeshift coffee station's a mess. Right now I'm able to bippass it and remember that I'll get there, but the more depressed I become, the harder it'll be.

The bipassing is probably because I did some of the floor clean up with said new shop vac, but I dunno how long that'll last, y'know?
