A happy thing: I am currently participating in the recurring Firewhiskey Fic challenge, happening right now in online real-time (creating fanworks while online with the rest of the participants in the comm) until the end of the weekend. I can't give details about my fic there because it's anonymous until author reveals after the weekend, but I can say I am enjoying the writing and the camaraderie in the comm.
