I think I'm sitting in between needing help and not needing help? IDK, I'm the worst judge of these things.
Talked to the neighbor who does remodeling work and he's agreed to take a look and fix it for us without charging (probably), but warned the bigger problem is going to be getting the parts, because *everybody* is going through this mess and stores are just out of stock on a lot of things. So I guess any knocking on wood or prayers that he can get to it tomorrow and it won't be anything more severe than the initial break and everything resolves well?

(I was able to schlep water from one of our neighbors (who's also disabled, so understands what we're dealing with), so we're doing okay(ish), but that's not exactly ideal. And the water company is still strongly recommend everyone limit water use thanks to the amount of leaking in the system, so, you know. Yeah.)
