Hopefully I've fixed my toilet-- it was functional, but SCREAAAMMMING like a damned soul on each flush. I had a rummage through my 'maybe I'll need this' shelf and found a new flush valve with instructions claiming it would only take 15 minutes.

HAHAHAH. Well, more than an hour is still pretty good for someone who has to put on her reading glasses to decipher the instructions. I THINK it's ok. I put a small container under the tank, with a washcloth in it, so I should be able to see if it's dripping. So far, so good.

Got around to adding up all the cloth masks I've made so far (some sent to an organized group, some given to people I know) and so far it's 217 of them. The organization is shutting down because manufacturing is catching up, but I think I'll keep making them whenever I'm not doing anything else.

Must try to go out and trim a tree some- hurricane season's started and they had already named 3 tropical storms, so it looks like a rough year coming up and I'd rather kill the tree by bad pruning than have my roof smashed in...
