Date: 2022-10-14 01:19 am (UTC)I'm in tons of pain, just started two new jobs, had to make an emergency trip so a friend could get their diabetes meds-and my first paycheck for the new job(s)...weren't all that much for the first week because training, etc.
Also, the Covid vaccine (I got Moderna for my first series-and the one booster, this time got Phiser) put me out for pretty much two days, where the Moderna only put me out for twelve, which meant I had to leave my shift early.
I'm mentioning the pain again because dammit it's a lot. It's at a six on *my* scale (Which is around everyone else's eight)...and I'm *noticing* it. To the point where I can't go of my tumeric/alphalapoic acid supplements without serious consequences, I.E. can't function. Which, BTW is not normal. It's to the point where I'm thinking of seeing if I can get in to the PCP for an Ibuprofin/harder shit perscription because dammit pain fatigue sucks monky balls.
I love winter, but the SAD is seriously kicking my ass to the point where Vitamin D3 is bearly making a dent, and it's a good thing I have other meds otherwise I'd be in a world of hurt for real.
...
The upshot is that I like my nnew job because it has me walking a lot, and I'm hoping it'll help me lose some of the Covid weight (Now if only I can stop spending money on fast freaking food....) and bring me out of the 5 below 200 range. At least in the long term, anyway, as I know muscle ways more than fat does.

Good for you for getting the booster, sorry to hear it knocked you back so much.

Date: 2022-10-14 02:19 pm (UTC)Me, too. Apparently it made me look ill, too, to the point my manager was like...if you don't feel good stay hom, plz. EWhen all I really felt was the tiredness-I didn;'t know it was making me look off and shit.
Thank you. :) The walking is still taking some getting used to, though. Although the uptick in water intake isn't necessarly a bad thing right now. :d
