Sorry for posting 2 hours late, but I've had a lot of trouble with late-day energy crashes lately. I promised the fam I'll call the doc tomorrow morning, but you *know* it's just going to be blood work and "we'll get back to you" for at least 2 weeks.

Fingers crossed they can at least determine the problem then, even if it's not fast. It would be great if medicine wasn't useless so frequently. :/

Today our townhouse complex caught on fire. In our row of six, the two at the end are totally destroyed. The fire was finally controlled two doors down from us. The raging blaze has been out for over an hour, but all the firefighters are still here. They'll be here for hours yet, they say. Every so often a tongue of flame licks up again and I hear the renewed roar of hoses.

Everyone got out, and I know we're really okay. But it'll be awhile before I can stop feeling sick and go to sleep.

Yikes, that's very frightening. I'm glad your house is okay at least, but how awful for your neighbors.

Yes, it's so awful for them. The poor lady at the end managed to run out with her cats and dog and bird but nothing else. Good priorities, but so much loss I can't imagine it.

Thanks. It's definitely out now. The burst water pipes are even shut off, so it should be safe now.
