As expected, I'm now in full fatigue+pain flare territory and I hate it. My temper's frayed to bits, I'm hoping some herbal tea will help with that before I accidentally kick a kitten or something (in my defense, every cat in the house apparently tried to be in the kitchen at the same time tonight as I was finishing and plating dinner and our kitchen really isn't that big).

The comic strip Breaking Cat News is good at evoking the way cats can materialize around your feet as soon as the fridge door opens.

Ironically, we were cooking with bacon today: loaded baked potato soup with bacon and cheese and sour cream - the cats were Very Interested. And upset that they didn't get any.

I guess we take our victories where we can, at times like these.

Over here the rhododendrons are in bloom, and the roses are starting.

Sympathies. I feel like that is a descriptor many of us, myself included, resonate with.

This world. .... I have no words for the state of it. At least not ones I can articulate well.

But soliderity? Yep, I have that.

I had to cut off Audible and Serius/xm because funding, and I debated long and hard over one of the two complementary credits I was given. ... and now, as is usual, I wish I would have chosen differently. Because October Day is awesome, and her series rocks-and I debated between An Artifickial Night, and Rapture in Death for a long time-and chose the latter...and now I wish I'd gone the other way. *sighs*

I'm waiting on notification from the unemployment people to see when I get my stuff-and how much I'm getting. If I get enough, I'm hoping to help my room mates out quite a bit, and pay down a good bit of my outstanding debt with it, because being caught up would make me feel so much better.

There are so many things I want to do...and most of them cost money and resorces I've yet to have. Thankfully none of ita is urgent-but they are still things I'd like to be able to do. :d
