I am ... very much not okay.
The last of the fruit kittens, Mango, died in all our sleeps - she went so quietly (after being all happy and explore-y and then cuddly last night before bed) that we had no idea anything had happened until Wife went to feed her and she was already cold. And then tonight, my baby, best foster daddy kitty George, strokes out without warning and dies. I've had nightmares about him dying for the past year or so (thanks, stress), but always wrote them off because he's just a baby (ok, he turned 5 this year and acted like he was 15, but still, baby) ... and then this happens and I'm ... not okay. I'm not ready to not have him begging for my plate halfway through dinner and then pouting when I won't give it to him, only to cuddle up at bedtime because no matter how mad he'd get at me for not giving him people food, he would always come cuddle up at night or when I laid down with a migraine or.... T_T

That's terrible; I'm so sorry. I know it's hard to grieve when the ones you're grieving are the comfort that would have helped you through in such hard times.

Oh, that's awful. I'm so sorry for you loss, the kittens and then George at such a young age :(

That's awful. I'm sorry you lost George so young and that the last kitten didn't make it. :( My condolences.

Fourth covid vax/second booster today. I feel mostly human at this point, but have scheduled things so that I can collapse in a heap for the weekend if need be.
