Well, that was exciting. While at work today there was a tornado warning and we all had to go spend about an hour in the library basement.

Lots to read "down there". The basement level houses all the adult nonfiction and all the reference books. 📚

We're under a heat advisory again - heat index is expected to hit 108F/42C tomorrow. Fortunately, we have A/C and fans and some shade from trees, though I need to put out more water

Also, shopping for computer peripherals is a total pain in the butt and I always forget in between times how much I hate it. XD

Sheesh, 42 degrees! Do you put the water out for birds and animals?

We do, though I've been less diligent recently from lack of spoons. But that hot, I'll risk it to make sure there's shaded water for the critters (we live next to swamp, my garden sees many critters)

I helped my brother pack for his upcoming move, and now I'm sore even though I just boxed up books, rather than hauling boxes around. And only for a couple of hours. I'm definitely not fit enough.

Also while I understand being attached to your books I can't help but think that maybe he could have culled some of them... So many floor to ceiling shelves with books crammed in two rows.
