Date: 2020-05-27 03:24 am (UTC)I'm pondering getting a haircut. Salons and barber shops have been open here for almost two months now. There are no active cases in my city either, so. It's reasonably safe. (there are 25 cases in the province though. Which, boo.)

Date: 2020-05-27 04:23 pm (UTC)They're going to quarantine in Athens for two weeks before going to the place they have in the islands. This is sensible.
Where things go bad is the venue they've chosen for their quarantine: my apartment in Athens. The decision has been made - without my input - that the sensible thing is for them to move in to my apartment for two weeks, and for me to move out and stay with my aunt until they're safe to travel to the islands.
I know a lot of people are being asked to sacrifice in these very difficult times. I know that a lot of people are sacrificing a lot more. But I can't help but feel resentful that I'm effectively being thrown out of my home for several weeks without any say in the matter. And on top of that, I'm being told that I should be thinking of it not as being thrown out of my apartment, but as giving my elderly parents a gift. And that I should be happy for the opportunity.
