Bra pain
Date: 2020-05-26 01:08 am (UTC)I'm a 42F or so--anyone got any suggestions for a bra that will help, not hurt? Additional complications are that I need as much cotton as possible next to my skin, spandex is a literal pain.
Or should I just adjust the bra somehow? Shorter straps, longer?
The problem with being home so much is jobs leap up and vie for attention.

Date: 2020-05-26 02:38 am (UTC)One thing to consider adjusting on your current bra is the band: if you're aching from lack of support, try tightening the band at your back and see if it's still comfortable. The band is designed to provide most of the support, but as bras age they stretch out. On the other hand, if your soreness is focused at pressure marks from the tightness, and you don't normally wear a bra at all, the band might be fitting too tight. In that case maybe consider a long-line bra to spread the needed support over more torso area?

Date: 2020-05-26 05:53 am (UTC)I'm basically feeling very, very trapped in my house. More trapped than the usual pandemic trapped!
And I have a 7:30 am meeting tomorrow. I hate that we have 7:30 am meetings in the first place, but I extra-hate them after a three-day-weekend, damn it.

Date: 2020-05-26 11:16 am (UTC)To top it all off, we went from nearly no cases to double digits in two days with multiple cases off a transport ship that shouldn't have been allowed into port. So everyone is jumpy about that.
