I missed the last few days of chekin, lately I am very forgetful about matters of following continuities. The transport system is in chaos and I had to go there twice downtown on trips that took hours. Endless annoyance.

An azalea has appeared at my house. Shockingly the hardware store doesn't carry pots that are 4 foot by 2 1/2 foot. We ended up getting a cheap kiddie pool to put it in instead. If I can keep it alive for the next few months, it'll end up in the front where the gladiolus are currently blooming. The bush is taller than I am, it's great.

(My mother-in-law needed to move several bushes at her house. Their new home won't fit them all. The bushes were planted by MiL's mom when MiL was small. It's a well established bush. Being driven for a hour down the highway in the heat of the day has done it no favors, so I'll be keeping a close eye on it for the next few weeks.)
