so it turns out one of the outside queens actually still has THREE kittens, not just two, and she's stashed them under our house. Which there's a whole lot of stuff (trash, really) under there, so they're having a blast. And they let me get close enough to hold them today. Since I wasn't expecting any kittens (they were all in hiding I'd been out earlier), I didn't have what I needed to bring them inside, but I'm working on getting them to accept me. Weather's nice enough right now that as long as they're staying up under the house, I'm not worried about some hunting hawk getting them at least.

So of course I hear today that somewhere down the street there's a crazy cat lady who may have loosed another one so it wasn't my imagination, there is another unfamiliar/new-to-the-park around. Sigh. I'll have to keep my eyes out.
