Got my 2nd booster yesterday \o/, and wasn't under the weather today. \o/ \o/ (First booster was mildly unpleasant for about 18 hours.)

But I still mask when I shop; my county is barely 48% vaxxed. Approximately 10% of people I see are still masking, and half of them wear it under their nose. I never cease to be amazed how stupid people can be.

I also still mask. I thought more people would mask up this season if only to skip seasonal allergies, but it's getting more and more rare to find a stranger wearing a mask.

My cat caught a cold. The poor girl is miserable and she keeps waking herself up with her own sneezes.

I appreciated this space a lot over the past two years, but I'm reading my Dreamwidth page too sporadically so I think it's time for me to leave this community. I wanted to say something because I don't want anyone to worry if you see my name drop off the daily poll (that I'm not answering daily, already an issue). Thank you for being there <333

The latest US supreme court news is doing a number on my mental state. I'm dealing mostly by not looking too much at the news/ social media. If I disappear for a few days, I'm taking an internet break and doing puzzles while cuddling the purr beast who will be going back to my sister some point next week when her finals are over.
