I'm frustrated because it looks like my drugstore already has stopped selling the packs of FFP2 masks, now that the mask mandate here is ending starting next week. I anticipated that the cheap packs of FFP2 masks would become less ubiquitous (there were just bins with packs of five at every drugstore and supermarket register), so I wanted to pick up some today to keep having new ones on hand (I reuse them a couple of times in a rotation, but of course you have to replace them after a while) but now they are already gone. WTF. They even will remain mandated on public transport for now, so why is that drugstore not selling any? (It's not that they were sold out, there were no empty spots where they used to be and I looked all over the store whether they maybe got moved.)

Unrelated to the masks, I have been unable to get any flour since late February. The news claims that there isn't a shortage of flour, just people stockpiling, but it's been two months now, and if I don't see any flour in several different supermarkets over a period of two months, with the only sign of its existence the shelf-label that informs you that buying of the non-available flour is limited to one bag per customer, that rather seems like a shortage to me.

If I hadn't already acquired and maintained a stockpile due to the whole pandemic experience before the Ukraine war started, I would have run out of flour weeks ago. But two months with no flour available and Easter baking has now almost depleted my pantry flour-wise. I still have some regular left, and some whole grain too, so it's not dire yet, but supply improvement doesn't seem to be in sight. (Though my brother managed to find some last week, so I guess you can get lucky...) And now the supermarket has started to ration pasta again. Obviously oil has rarely been available either (at least not the basic stuff, the expensive specialty oils are still there).
