Sorry for the late post!

It's so frustrating that I can't seem to stick with reading anything right now (aside from the doomscrolling snippets). I have the new Rivers of London, that I looked forward to, and yet. :(

Yeah, delayed book-reading due to scattered attention. Me too.

I haven't finished any book this year and can't stick with longer fanfic either, and it is actually starting to make me anxious in ridiculous ways, that makes things worse in a vicious cycle, because previous reading slumps never lasted this long. Like, what if the fictional escape route stays cut off?

Yeah, I've been checking the word-count on each fic before I start reading it, and not reading any NEW long!fic...but for whatever reason, I can still manage to read longer if it's something I'm rereading.
