I am not okay but I am too exhausted of everything for help right now, so.... So tired of the whole world being garbage. Not even kitten cuddles are helping rn.

I'm hanging in there, but I am really really tired of Long Covid... it's ridiculous, I got it before they officially announced it in the US, and just thought, weird flu, why doesn't it go away. Had three doses of vaccine and STILL I am exhausted a lot of the time, and the old unproductive cough comes and goes, rasping my throat and making me PEE before I can get to the bathroom.

Still so lucky that it's never got bad enough that a doctor would do any good, but so so so sick and tired of being sick and tired.

Today I have a little energy so I'm trying to do yard work- it's been so long I'm afraid the city will cite me for overgrown weeds... on the bright side, I started cutting back a huge bougainvillea I can see from the window I sit at the computer and a pair of mockingbirds are building a nest- must finish carefully trimming NOT CLOSE to the nest so they are safe, but I can still see mom and pop coming and going.

So much sympathy on the Long Covid.

At least the birds and flowers sound pretty.

The birds are very pretty. Today I watched them bringing little bits of fluff to the nest-- probably dandelion fluff so yay, the weeds are doing someone some good. :^)

Your username amused me because I'm struggling past the brain fog to try to write a story and had to look up the time difference between Kathmandu and New York City (K is 10 hours and 45 minutes ahead of NYC) to explain why someone had to wait to make a phone call.
