went to the dentist yesterday, and then came home to several hours of agonisingly painful abdominal muscles and multiple bouts of extreme vomiting

On top of everything else my stomach was too upset last night to tolerate my bedtime dose of antidepressant/Brintellix - Brintellix causes me an upset stomach and stomach cramps if I take it on an empty stomach

so whenever my stomach is already upset, I have to skip my Brintellix

which means I get withdrawal symptoms today :(

Hopefully my stomach will have calmed down tonight and I can take tonight's dose.

Ugh. Did something at the dentist trigger all this?

Yes - the dental chair was far too horizontal, so between the angle of the chair and my stress at having fillings causing me to clench my muscles, my abdominal muscles were aching like I'd done 10 million sit-ups :(


I may also have had an adverse reaction to the topical anaesthetic or the injectable anaesthetic, or something else the dentist used

Ugh again. Hope that all resolves soon and that you feel better.

I can really relate about the part having to do with the angle of the dentist chair. I feel like I can't breathe when they tip it back to "far too horizontal".

Got some shopping done. Came home to news about counter-protests in Ottawa and Edmonton against the Convoy Coup Crowd's behaviour and maneuvers. The march in Ottawa was estimated to be at least 4000 people. Makes me glad that we're not giving up.

However, street-level police officers' behaviour in both cities as reported via multiple Twitter sources, several of whose names are well-known across Canada, leave me worried about co-option.
